We are growing and changing at Delta, and the expectations for the staff and the teams are set on the national scope. We, at Delta VBC, are dedicated to improving the lives of youth through athletics and education. Our club strives to create leaders in this growing sport and we will continue to offer learning opportunities throughout the year.
Delta VBC is proud to announce that Maggie Bianchini, #21 Libero-18 Black, has made an early decision to attend and play volleyball next year at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA.
Maggie stated "I chose Arcadia because of the size and beauty of the campus. I see myself thriving in this environment and making new friends." Maggie will be studying Special Education and will have the opportunity to continue to compete in volleyball at the NCAA DIII level.
Parents, Colleen & John, are happy and proud that Maggie is fulfilling her goal of playing at the next level and getting to pursue the academic endeavor of her choice. Most importantly, Colleen stated, "being so close to home ensures that we will be able to attend some matches!"
Maggie will graduate from Wissahickon High School in the spring and has been a member of our Delta family for two years.
